The program includes workshops and coaching around self-mastery, tapping into one’s strengths, gaining clarity on values and purpose, goal-setting and thinking strategically about the future.

Workshops

Learning outcomes can include improving certain skills or finding solutions to tricky problems. Examples of workshops Nikka gives: Greater Conversations for Work and Wellbeing, Building a Coaching Culture and How to Talk With Teens and Get Them To Listen.

Curious About Coaching?

Here are some frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaches and therapists both create long-lasting behavior changes to improve people’s lives—but they work in different ways to achieve this. Therapists are trained mental health professionals who diagnose and treat illnesses such as depression, anxiety or deep trauma.

Coaches are trained professionals who use  Psychology to build mental fitness and emotional agility for success. Coaching is a proactive approach that ignites well-being, peak-performance and personal growth. Not everyone is mentally ill, but everyone can work on improving mental fitness and emotional agility with a coach.

It seems anyone can call themselves a coach. Is coaching a scam?

No, but it’s essential to find a trained professional coach who matches you and your goals. Nikka is an ICF-credentialed coach who has been certified to use science-based coaching grounded on Positive Psychology and Motivational Interviewing.

To maintain their credentialed status, ICF coaches are required to earn continuous coaching education units. As science and psychology progress, training never ends for professional ICF coaches.

I’m busy. How flexible is the coaching schedule?

Nikka and her clients collaborate to set the best schedule for their coaching sessions. Initially, coaching is held for an hour every 2 weeks. When momentum is there, sessions can be held every 3 or 4 weeks. Some clients work with Nikka for just 30 minutes once a week or every 2 weeks. Time and cadence is flexible based on a client's needs and situation.

How much does coaching cost?

Cost will depend on what you or your organization will need from Nikka as your coach. To give an exact contract price, you will have to do a Discovery Call.

How do I decide if coaching is for me?

Book a 45-minute Discovery Call so you can talk to Nikka about your goals or what you’d like to get out of coaching. You can then discuss how you can work together on your goal or challenge and decide from there. If you decide to partner with Nikka, she can craft a contract which will include the total investment for your coaching program.

I’m already successful, do I still need a coach?

Even if you are already successful, a coach offers valuable benefits. They support continuous improvement by sharpening your thinking skills and provide fresh perspectives—enhancing your decision-making. Coaches also hold you accountable, ensuring you stay focused and motivated. They help navigate new challenges that come with success, give guidance on work-life harmony, and assist in building and maintaining crucial relationships. Ultimately, a coach facilitates self-reflection, clarifying your values and motivations, leading to more meaningful success that gives you joy.
